Director, Screenwriter, Producer, Founder of Crowder Films
James Crowder
James Crowder is a second-generation Guatemalan-American filmmaker born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He began his career as a Production Assistant on The Gold Cup (2000) and Teddy Bears’ Picnic (2001). After studying Screenwriting, Film, and Theatre at California State University, Northridge, he joined the crew of House M.D (2004) for four seasons. He went on to work with the YouTube production company Reckless Tortuga as Script Supervisor on Extra Butter, Please (2011) and as 1st Assistant Director on The CLAN (2013). Later, as Executive Assistant at Stellascope, he helped produce Beck: Heart Is a Drum (2014). Now focused on writing and directing, he has recently directed Princess Princess (2019), Luna di Morte (2023), and the award-winning Rîo Monstruo (2024). His newest project, a radio drama series titled Monroe Mysteries (2026), is now available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Christina Oliva
Actress, Storyboard & Concept Artist, Producer
Christina is a classically trained artist who studied at OCHSA, Parsons The New School in New York, and LCAD. A professional artist since 2017, she’s been acting her whole life and loves being on stage, backstage, or on set—collaborating and creating with others.
She has acted in or produced all productions for Crowder Films and is currently writing her own features. Trained in the Acting Center Method, she now works with the school, helping others grow as performers and storytellers.
